hiya,
Although never a Tory I did believe in some of the “Enoch policies” and was
totally against some of the things he did eg’ the Thalidomide thing didn’t he
refuse to meet some of the people affected by the use of the drug which
was only available on prescription, a case of being a bit “ostrichonian” in my
book, most MPs are never heard of again after winning a comfortable seat
which incidentaly guarantees wealth beyond their wildest dreams, like those
ermine clad bretheren in the Lords they just turn up and pocket loads of cash
while constantly nodding off in “their pews”.
thanks harry, long retired.
I think I’m going to decline from commenting about the politicians after the latest debacle with the banks etc.
Cheers Dave.

Thats very true Harry.I don’t think anyone has any confidence in the lot of them these days.
Cheers Dave.
Dave I have every confidence that the tories will screw us, and that most MPs only do it for their own gain,
if not and they do it to serve the people, why do those millionaires in the goverment accept the money, also why do the rest of the different parties,
vote for a increase in their wages and expenses, while the public have cuts and no pay increases

I can’t really comment anymore than what I have in previous posts Norm, other than to say its obvious we are in for even harder times.
Cheers Dave.
The ■■■■■■■■ in Parliment reckon they have a very difficult, strenueous and demanding job, that no-one else really wants Ah!,but they quietly overlook the fact that for every vacant seat there are about 100 applicants, most of whom would do a far better job for half the money(and perks),what a load of ■■■■■ we now have “representing” us I wouldn’t mind but they are hardly able to go for a ■■■■■ now without asking Brussels first.I know that Farage is a bit of a slimy ■■■■ but he isn’t tainted like the Political “elite” in Westminster so as far as I’m concerned now any complete change and the smashing of the Con/Lib/Labour club must be welcomed however poor that change may be at least it may clear the air of the “stench” surrounding the current shower,sorry,M.P.'s and allow a fresh start at least.Cheers Dennis.

They all tell us that.
Our first duty would be “enoble” “H”,arise Lord Gill of Lancaster Quay, now then your “Lordship” get yer sen into the Upper Chamber and give those dozy old ■■■■■■■■ some “stick”,Norm and me will stand guard on the door while you are “disciplining” the ■■■■■■■■ !! Can Norm wear a pair of those black tights and a pair of those shoes with the silverbuckles on,he’s away dancing at the Peppermint Rhino Club to-night so he wouldn’t need to change,Ooooo Errrrrr!! Cheers Dennis.
Yes Dave but Dennis and especially me, always give it from the shoulder, not from the rear end.
Not like the ones in power,
they spout the same material from both ends,
thats why in ends up with such a foul smell!
Very true Norm. The thing is nearly everyone has stopped listening to the lot of them. It’s much the same everywhere with a comedians party taking a third of the votes in Italy.Just sums it up for me.A total waste of time, the lot of them.
Cheers Dave.

Well I’ll comment,…The Honourable (MP)…The Noble (Lord), my back side A fairly decent percentage of em are crooks. And MEP’s,
their snouts are so far in the trough they’ll drown in the swill.
When I come to power there will be changes.
Dennis was on about salaries, MP’s “earn” £67000 PLUS “allowances”. For “allowances” read any fiddle you can get away with. My previous local MP (before he got dumped) got his salary PLUS a 1 year record amount of £138000 “allowances”.
My present local MP "earned that last year PLUS £86000 working as a barrister. Now how the hell can you be an MP and a Barrister?

Quite agree with you there Brian. If he as a barrister has a case going on in court, there is no way he can attend the house of commons and represent his constituents.
Sack the lot of them.
Cheers Dave.
I ask myself,
have I opened a can of worms
tempatures riseing, juices flowing. MPs line their nest, that is a fact, but I can put up with it, if they do something for others not just the rich!
Conservatives behave like the ancient egyptians and treat the working class and poor like their slaves, in their eyes ,we should keep ourselves in the gutter and not dare approach their standard of living, they would drool if we could return to early victorian times. They try all tricks to make out they are like us, but you can be sure they don’t want you or me,
they just want your vote to get in power and keep there! Anyone lower than the upperclass is deluding themselves, if they think they care about you, they just care about money & power! I have been watching their attitude from when I was a child, and I can see no change over 65 years.
I don’t think we will be approaching their standard of living Norm. Not in my case anyway.I can live fairly comfortably on what I get, along with what I earn with my CPC etc.If things get tighter I will just hook up to an old caravan with my transit and buy a lurcher dog, then sit by the side of the road smoking dope…Then I’d get some money.
Cheers Dave.

Our Cairn terrier is a friendly little dog Harry. The only time he has bared his teeth was when an Alsatian went for him.
He wouldn’t show aggression to the Lurcher, but as you say,it could be the other way round.
Might have to hide the Cairn from the benefits people and the Lurcher.
Cheers Dave.
