Not much fun in the churchyard or the crem Norm.I was bad enough on a Greeves 325.

Dave I never fell off,   when it was icy I stepped off when it went, I was going slow, even trained RAC lads to ride BSA’s in Germany at a place called Hildeshiem, it was a laugh when I took them on cobbles, especially if it rained or a little icy, but they done well in the army competitions. The camp commander gave me a few days off with a travel pass.

Hi Norm,
I rode motorbikes on fields and tracks as well as road bikes.Only time I came off on the road was with a Lambretta scooter on ice.I hated that scooter, byt looking back it was near indestructible and good on fuel…but it wasn’t a motorbike.
Cheers Dave.

Only came off my bike once fractured back in the process did get back on them after that repaired the bike as well

hiya,
Dave I’m about 10 miles South of ā€œThe Toonā€ plenty of pubs and
clubs here but a lot of them boarded up with for sale signs on the
front, the working mens clubs were the big thing up here at one
time but lots closed and whats left threatened with closure a sign
of the times and corner shops more or less giving beer away the
young and not so young getting drunk in the house before turning
out for the last hour, who would have given a thought that the
good old British institution of a night at your ā€œlocalā€ would ever die
the death, and I doubt it will ever return to anything like it was.
PS. was spot on as to what our Ang was doing, must be phsycic
