I think these trailers were built by a company in America called Strick. A & RJ Wood, rather unusually had (I think six) of these frigo trailers. I pulled them in the early '80s. Here are some pics. Robert

Yes Robert, is a Strick…was very rare in Europe.

Strick got more and more acceptance as (later the parent-company GE) TIP Trailers did quite some rentals
in several regions of Western-Europe. Also Fruehauf (in cooperation with Dutch NETAM and German Ackermann)
had a part of the pie…Rentco was another story, and nowadays we hardly see the rentals but there are!!!

Why you should risk an investment in a special trailer (e.g. Strick) when you can rent it on shorter terms

The bubbles also used to import US reefer trailers. They were a proper PITA with their stainless back doors!
