I don’t know if it’s just me I see an old tractor usually on a car transport trailer and usually towed by a land Rover every day I bet if you keep your eyes peeled when you’re out and about you’ll see one

Easter time: Start of the show season. Someone down the road has a Robey steamroller and he was out roadtesting it with living van behind over the weekend.
You can see them all year, as many of the vintage tractor mob go in for the ploughing matches … there are often classes for “vintage” and also for horses.
I went to a vintage tractor auction @ Yorks. Show ground in Harrogate with a friend 3 years ago … restored Massey Ferguson 135’s were going for up to £8000
There is a big market / show scene for vintage tractors

I been out as well but i got a aveling barford dx motor rollor.makes all the right noises but is parrafin powered engine and rumbles along the road at a speedy 12mph…
oh yeah and the tractor brigade is well awake now well the show and shiny ones are as the plough matches are mostly finished till later in the year…all you may get now is the road runs with 20 or so tractors along the country lanes at weekends…
watch vosa get intreasted in them as well as a lot of them tractors are over 2 ton and get towed behind really unsuitable cars and trailors…
Great time of year for seeing working classic lorries not just on the fairs but used to tow the larger vintage stuff plus a few farmers put them on the road for moving lime, feed, hay etc.
Saw one in Daventry yesterday. I let an old artic out of a side road and it had a steam tractor on the back.
