Hi everybody, does anyone know where there is an old tilt spread axle trailer for restoration from the 70s or 80s to go behind my Volvo f89 I’m restoring? Pref with belly tank full of red 
. I would be gratefull for any help.

I’ve just scrapped a lovely tilt body I’ve had for years, got £310 at the scrap yard for it & a 2000 litre belly tank went not long back too. Body was for 13.6 metre though I suppose your after a 40’ are you■■?

old tilt would be very hard to find but i know a guy who has a old wides pread tandem on twins it is a curtain but was a tilt in its former life just sitting in a farm with crap in it chassis good think it was van hool winding handle on off side uk plates (expired 15 yrs ago) good curtains rough front and rear doors with a tilt type sheet on roof looks like it had been used for sawdust

1983 cf tandem on steel 40 ft 4 m curtainsider boalloy body 1 owner from new name still on curtains good tyres needs door and paint chassis not bad was going to pull it behind one of my old trucks but might look better behind one of yours if i can i will get pictures
See the google maps link, bottom link. Not sure if its a tri-axle or tandem. Its on the road from the company below who have tonnes of old trucks and trailers. Bare in mind this is just searching on the pc so have no idea if this tilt is still there

He had some old spread axle Wilsons tilts some years ago - never know he might have one kicking about.
