he did, but he also had 30 ton o steel plate on the floor to counteract the swing

Always makes me laugh when fully grown adults give themselves heart attacks for losing what is essentially minutes from an entire lifetime, but will then spend 20 + hours a week staring at crap on tv or talking crap for 20 minutes after they’ve clocked off. If a driver can’t drive at 40mph for 10 or 15 miles without giving himself a stroke, then what’s he doing at the wheel of an artic? No wonder we’re all miserable, unhealthy and full of anger. Just slow down a little bit and enjoy the scenery. Getting stuck behind something is an opportunity to learn something about yourself. The real world is only the real world because we make that world for ourselves through our attitudes.

I’d like to congratulate the driver of the white Actros eastbound out of Swindon on the 420 at about 6am this morning.

This is a man who obviously lives in the real world and although he wanted to do 40mph he was realistic enough to understand that those following want to travel quicker, he therefore showed his consideration by carrying all the way around roundabouts thus letting the following traffic clear.

Old school and very professional imo.

Of course someone will now post saying that I should’ve been doing 40 too and so should never have caught him, but like I said… real world.

So you were stuck behind him until you got to the 3rd(and last) roundabout @ Faringdon? . . must have cost all of a minute !!

Did I say anywhere that I was stuck behind him? I’ve read and re-read my op and can’t for the life of me find it.

So what exactly was your point?

I’ll admit I used to speed everywhere. But recently I started obeying the limits or at least getting close to them.
In reality my journey times are no longer, the fast boys that fly past are always waiting at the next junction as I trundle up behind them. I always have a nice clear road in front of me so I can hold a constant speed. I’m not going home tired. My fuel consumption is better. Its just all soooo relaxing…

How the ■■■■ would you know it went around every roundabout if you wasnt behind it?
It was you in the Actros wasnt it . . . :stuck_out_tongue:

■■■■, rumbled

Nah, t’wasnt me in the Actros. However, as I was having a leisurely drive I took a long time to catch him. I actually caught him just before the second r/about. That’s why i put a s on the end of roundabout, to demonstrate plural ya see

Is this the official inquest to the incident? Do I need to contact my solicitor? Do I need to bring clean underwear?
