Drove the Sweedish truck hire Scania SFH753W for a while when it belonged to Bill Kitchens plant hire company. Nice motor but what a bloke to work for (nightmare). Any one know what happened to the Scania ?

It certainly is Ian. He would be one of the best livestock drivers around. The F7 was later replaced by an FL10 H870 SRM? i think. R.I Stamper, Kirkbride ran it after Redpaths. Wonder where the F7 is now. Saw Ian just the other day on an 05 plate fergusons Scania in Alcan at Lynemouth. Still see many other Ex Redpath drivers on my travels. Les Baston, Alan Scott, Jimmy Atkinson, Geoff Fawcett, Trevor Hiscox to name a few. The Trailer on this F10 is ex Redpath of Wooler.

Another name from Redpath’s is Alan Easton, belonged Wooler. I worked on nightshift with him for about 6 years up until he retired, great bloke. Last I heard he was driving a taxi in Wooler for his brother in law.

geordie was surprised to hear from me someone told him i had passed away last year

hi lads surprised that know one at the Geordie gathering didn’t recognize toby jug, ( Ian Kieth ) spoke to jimmy hill about the next do, there is going to be a suprise birthday party arranged for someone,so will try putting the two events together,
