Hi Bumper, its a 1930s Durham Reg, Its a pity the name isn’t a bit clearer, Regards Larry.

hi larry always thought UP was a newcastle reg remember johnson of chopwell most of their fleet had UP reg that was back in the days when they had most of the opencast contracts, bumper :confused: :confused:

UP & PT Are both Durham Regs, The Newcastle ones are BB.TN.VK. Regards Larry.

Yes up until 1974, anywhere South of the Tyne was Co. Durham, North of was Northumberland

Not guilty Dennis, Im to busy looking for whisky at bargain prices, To get stocked up for the coming Xmas & Hogmanay period, I scored at Tescos to-day Glenmorangie on at £35. a litre a good saving on the normal price, Regards Larry.

Just for the record like,they were flogging litre bottles of Baileys in Morrisons to-day for £9 ! Anne likes a Baileys and ice so we bought a couple of bottles,about half the normal price eh! Cheers Dennis.
