Aye well it must be about 14 years ago, We both tipped phone books at Oxford area, & wenr into Amersham to load Brown Ale for Newcastle Breweries, They were half pints, They had been bottled at Kendal in 1/2 pints for export to Canada, But the boxes they were packed in didn’t meet export regs, So they were sent down to a firm in Amersham to be sorted out, & the transported back to Newcastle to be loaded into conatainers & then senr down to Southampton Docks , God only knows the cost involved, But having said that the rate I got was OK for a return load, We were parked up at Amersham outside the loading point, I t was a warm evening, We went & got some Fish & Chips for our evening meal, Mark was having a problem with his feet so I sprayed them with Avon foot works liquid which I used on me own plates of meat in the summer, He was pleased with the treatment & he said he would get some for the future when his feet were sore, Happy long gone days, Regards Larry.

I’ve got to agree with you about the artwork Dennis, it is excellent, but he is very quiet could he be sampling the local brew?? Definitly not that gnats ■■■■ lager . It will be “broon ale” with an aque vitae chaser (or the Finnish equivalent) Regards Kev.

He must of been well off course, His satnav musnt be working. Or he has been on the drink & fell asleep, But it must have been the cheap stuff if this is the case, When one imbibes in the proper stuff one comes alive dosent one, Regards Larry.& maintains ones course to say the least.
