hiya Roly… try this one on E bay he’s aluminium and 20 inches high. no fixinhg brackets but metal gives you a chance
you,ve got 20 to go at mate at £44.95 each…the number is 171425508310…its a chap at Kettering…you’ll be able to drill
and tap a fixing bracket onto him…Roly just found another on the last age he lights up like the ones we had on the mirror
arms he’s £399…ho i we should have saved our old ones.
Cheers John
You should all spare a thought for us poor Michelin men! My doctor thinks I’m obese because I’ve got more folds than an accordian. It’s no easy job sitting up on that cab roof day and night in all weathers! I expect you think we’re happy up there, but you’d glow in the dark with a permanent smile on your face too if you had a vibrating mounting stanchion up your arse. When I was laid off, i couldn’t even get a job as a garden gnome because i frightened the gold-fish. In the end I got a temporary job sitting on top of an ice-cream van instead of Mr Whippy who had gone for counselling. It was rubbish: have you ever perched on a 40-year-old Bedford CF with its engine running all day while large herring gulls use you as a public convenience? I’m coming back as a TIR-plate next time round! (Robert)
hey ERF, be carefully otherwise you will end like me forgotten in the prairie, because nobody wants me again on his back.
Bye Eric,
In the '70s Flipje was also very popular with particularly the Dutch-drivers and not to forget
Holland Duck and Belgian Duck very much related to the Mack-movie Rubber Duck

Was this flipje and holland duck truckers clubs before my time, what did the phaeng sticker mean aswell, ive seen a few about lately ,the retro stuff is sneaking back in,a lot of motors are getting the retro dutch look to them
Flipje-Tiel was the image of fruit and the region of Geldermalsen called De Betuwe…whereas
the Holland Duck-club was a drivers-club with magazines, incentives…PAHAENG is a sticker
out of Scandinvia (I have bee told it is from origin Finnish) saying ‘attention trailer’ to protect
cyclist when the truck passed. It was situated at the co-driver-side of the truck when LHD-truck.
Hey, coming from Danmark, the orange light on the roof was from Finlandia.
Bye Eric,
