Old memories, all of 2 years!

I was going through the computer, weeding out some stuff and came across these.

This was in the IDS somewhere near Hannover

I was going to buy this to do the ME. I know you will all think I am mad but it was in excellent order, and I would trust that 11 litre engine anywhere.

On the ferry coming out of Dublin. The Container ship was a biggie.

I spotted this while sitting at the lights in Barmstedt, Germany. The Kernow sticker was what caught my eye.

Anyone know what this is?

When I go back to blighty I will look at the PC I left behind. There should be loads of pics on there.

some very nice photos thanks a lot,

and no i do not know whose angel that is,

That is the Angel of the North, a sculpture off the A1 near Gateshead.

Heres a link via Google

I am sure one of our North Eastern members will fill us in with all the details…

Yes, and why anyone should be enthralled by a hunk of rusting iron defeats me :open_mouth: . I mentioned this opinion to some, normally quite sensible, friends from Sunderland and they said ‘it does grow on you’ :unamused: .
Not on me it doesn’t :smiling_imp:

Still, a nice little job for my old mates at Econofreight when it was erected  .

That last picture is scrap heap challenge.

well thats what I was told
