Old Italians FIAT OM UNIC Lancia

ERF-Continental:
Not really FIAT, OM, Unic, or Lancia but VESPA did a hell of a job to distribute goods in all sorts throughout Italy…a genuine transport-nation!

Bear in mind the combination of (at the left) roadtransport as well as (at the right) railtransport and Vespa did the job!!!

Surprised they weren’t more common tbh, ideal for gardeners and the like.

I wonder what reversing this was like… :unamused:

The trailer’s central axle doenst seem steered, thus leaving a very important overhang; even driving forward must have been awkward, especially in towns!

The Italian Job was on TV yesterday so some information off the internet about the FIAT 643 N and Rolfo Car Transporters along with its predecessor the 642. I never knew that the cab was refered to as a ‘Bafo’ cab.

UNIC H 3 blue cabriolet 1930 (second on second line) 8-cylinder-in-line

What you need now to complete your collection is a CD2 or CD3!

Looks like a Lancia:

It is definitely a Lancia!
