I’ve still got my Dads old copy of The ‘Swift’ Price per Ton Reckoner he used for return loads. Handy little book to work out rates of the load per Ton, Cwt and Qtrs using the Pounds, Shillings and Pence currency that is almost forgotten today. Here’s a page example below, works it all out for you, just the job for finding those profitable return loads along with another book containing the names and address of Clearing Houses etc. Cheers Franky.
