Bad memories, I met her in a Stoke massage parlour years ago just up the road from the old Stoke City FC ground, my mate got the wrong one, it should have been a place further up the road! Nice woman, but it was like being with your mum! Couldn’t, wouldn’t do nothing, my mate did though!
Crazytrucker’
I knew that place would come back to haunt me!
Beware of Crazytrucker. Read what robthedog has just posted on Bewick Transport Group and 43 ers Threads on Old Lorries , etc. Forum. It looks like the sad - act Crazytrucker is going to do even more damage with his low - level of shame. cattle wagon man.
At the time this was a working recovery unit based in Ponterwyd. Hasn’t long moved on to another company

see what i can do…there are a few other vehicles in the fleet although those 3 are the oldest. IIRC there are 4 or 5 in total but its rare to see them parked together, that was last easter weekend, they are usually out and about most weeks and cover the whole of the UK from Crewe.
heres a few more of mornflakes golden oldies…

Daf is in the old livery, it’ll probably be either painted or replaced soon.
The newer Scania has a often heard driver…usually on the Lynn Bowles traffic reports on radio 2.
Seen in Bilston this week:
Leyland DAF 70 – well weathered!

A now retired od had an RMC liveried one on a P reg, and was told he’d have to replace it as it was too old and didn’t fit the company image. At 70+ he packed up but then this one turns up and it’s a right heap according to the driver. His Y reg Merc was sent up Lincoln way by his boss. There’s also an S reg at Kidlington, they must struggle at 240bhp driving a fully loaded drum.
The G reg is only a yard shunter (there’s also a Dodge Commando tractor unit hiding behind the S reg) and I think the S reg is still used on the road, although they have a “new” unit on an 02 plate.
The G reg under the tyre shredder.
R reg demount used for collecting tyres from garages (Evans have alot of old Baylis demount bodies)
I would say the S reg is still used on the road, its got tax and O licence disc in the window,…
Our workshop uses an Sreg Volvo FM for MOTing trailers and for recovery I’ll get a photo this week.
