Probably been put on here somewhere else but a one owner from new 1980 Volvo F12 certainly deserves another posting, I saw this last week in Warwick Services and went to have a word with the driver, he told me he was 76 and he was just on his way back from delivering to RAF Benbecula on The Outer Hebrides, not a bad run for a 34 year old lorry that looked immaculate.

I love these types of outfits, and these types of stories - long time owner drivers driving very old lorries on full time work.
Thanks for posting. What a beautiful motor.

Hats out to the driver driving the same lorry for 34 years and keeping it in mint condition all that time and that f12 is beautiful
Moving the Balfour Beatty accommodation from M25 (J6) Godstone to M1 (J29a)
Ian Lawson’s 1979 F12 was originally a flat top cab type. The back of the cab went rusty so he had the whole panel replaced (can’t remember when). When that cab became a bit rotten he replaced it with a Mk2 cab because there were no Mk1’s left.
