I saw that when I stooped for a brew at the lay by just after Ambergate. Then there was an accident on the Via Gellia and I caught it up. It turned into a farm/holiday cottages just out of Pike Hall on the left towards Newhaven.
Small world isn’t it.

Still working doing Markets

Just about to go up M11 & A1 to Stamford on Saturday 21st

Came back Sunday Night through Chelmsford

Two of Cowan Bridge hauliers R.E. Shuttleworth & Sons` immaculate fleet.
The Scania was purchased new , and virtually only driven by Andrew , whilst the E.R.F. has brother Mike as its pilot.

Cheers , cattle wagon man.

I’m I right in thinking that ERF has a demountable cattle body as I’m sure I’ve seen it pulling hay??

Kindest regards

Hi ■■■■■■■■ Gill,
You are correct , young man.
Both the Scania and the E.R.F. have demounts, and the E.R.F. is more-usually fitted with a rear Hiab for fertilizer delivery to farms.

Now,…just WHAT kept you busy on Saturday evening ? :open_mouth:   You were posting “Stobart ramblings” on TNUK instead of attending a much more interesting and educational Transport Slideshow .
Last year you made the pathetic excuse of having a throat infection.

Cheers , cattle wagon man.

Not a lorry but still grafting daily.
