Often see this Scania around north of England / Scotland. Some kind of horse stunt team iirc.
It might be, or Annan or something. I don’t really remember, I was heading for Ruthven via this pararel route that branch out of A702 (or A701 maybe) that goes from Beattock to Dumfries.
Cross post from “Older wagons still earning their corn”:
A 1969 (yes, 44 years old) Commer I came across the other day, still at work. Almost certainly the oldest still earning in Australia (there are older Commers here but all are show ponies).
It’s not in show-winning nick either, and all the better for it:
Cracking photo of Les Bastons Sed/Aki, Les is a good friend of mine, And he has had this motor for a long time now and keeps it going, Well done Regards Larry.
Don’t suppose anyone has seen a light blue Volvo FL7 4x2 with a 235bhp engine under the cab pulling a tri axle fridge trailer around yorkshire. Saw one pulling out of our yard last week was in shock seeing a little motor still plugging a days work away. Sounded sweet though for a volvo
