Barry/Jakey, Barry here’s 1 for your Dad, some faces he’ll remember, Steve you will know 1 but you may know the others? I am holding my Tankard as it my leaving day, 5 year apprenticeship over, got my Class 1/ National & International CPCs & other stuff, this was a Friday & I went out on the Boat on Sunday night on my 1st run for Luker Bros to Italy! Great memories of my time on Leyland

Just had to buy this photo off ebay ,this was a contract I was on when on Brs Oxford , this Roadtrain was driven by Jock and was ran along side us with Bennets of Thame .,I would of thought she was a few years old here because around 1990 she was replaced with a 95 series .
I have yet to find one of our roadtrains in this colour scheme which I loved , but one of our roadtrains in the next livery.

I remember that one coming into Wolverhampton repair centre when it was new to get painted before being sent to Oxford.
Hi Trevor , yes I know we spoke before about this unit , I never saw it being used on the road , by the time I got to Oxford depot she was off the contract , Barry Freeman bjf on the forum also ex Oxford depot fitter told me she pulled this trailer (picture attached ),it use to go under a low arch at OUP in Oxford .
