Hi Chris great pics , i can remember those BMC FFk units coming down to Pressed steel at Llanelli . regards Kieth .

Barry/Jakey, Barry here’s 1 for your Dad, some faces he’ll remember, Steve you will know 1 but you may know the others? I am holding my Tankard as it my leaving day, 5 year apprenticeship over, got my Class 1/ National & International CPCs & other stuff, this was a Friday & I went out on the Boat on Sunday night on my 1st run for Luker Bros to Italy! Great memories of my time on Leyland  Regards Chris

Another memory pic for your Dad Barry, both great blokes who are sadly no longer with us :frowning: , both taught me a great deal & I owe them a lot!

Barry ask your Dad if he remembers this, I was age 20 & had just passed my Class 1, so I bought this as a present to myself  , XJ6 4.2 Ltr, paid £1000 for it, why oh why did I ever sell it :unamused:  , loved it! Regards Chris

Just had to buy this photo off ebay ,this was a contract I was on when on Brs Oxford , this Roadtrain was driven by Jock and was ran along side us with Bennets of Thame .,I would of thought she was a few years old here because around 1990 she was replaced with a 95 series .

I have yet to find one of our roadtrains in this colour scheme which I loved , but one of our roadtrains in the next livery.

Second livery which I did not like at all . (diffrent truck, different contractor )

I’m missing the banter, where has everybody gone?
