What do you do with them? Keep or shred?
Last one expired back in May, and all I get off our TM is, ‘errrmm… dunno what to do with it…’

Just make sure you download the data, then destroy it mate.
If it’s expired you don’t have to do anything with it as far as I know.
It certainly won’t work any longer, and it’s only illegal to carry two valid cards at one time.
Carry it for 28 days after expiry, then use it as an ice scraper or something
Keep mine in my wallet and use as ID when I collect parcels from post office etc.
I used to use my B and Q discount card to scrape the snow off my windscreen but I gave up. I only got 25% off!
Just renewed mine and the accomponying VOSA leaflet INF177B reads as follows :
“You will need to ensure that you apply for a renewal at least 15 days before your current card expires and the ability to record information is lost.
Once the card expires it can only be used to display, print or download the data held on it.
.
Your expired card must not be returned and must be kept for 28 days after expiry because you may have to produce it at a roadside check.
Data must be downloaded from expired cards before they are disposed of.”
.
… hope this helps … …
You are now the proud owner of a signed photo ice scraper before disposal. Enjoy .

It expired in May, it’s been downloaded since, so I guess a trip through the shredder it’s going to take!
Thanks all for the replies.
they’re very good for grouting wall tiles
I heard they are offering good money in Poland for recycling old driver cards and licences ?
