Jeff,
Graham Newton was also on Comarts for a while, had one of the Scania’s(if its the same one) came back from Austria with him in it when my Mum was with Dad and me, I think Eddie Deville was on longton as well before he went on Comarts

Hiya… flying foden was it micky bailey who had the steel cab ERFs■■? one morning one of his drivers was hit by a TNT /Wilkinsons lorry
about 3 miles south of jct 15 one morning and lost his life. His dad also drove for the same outffit on local work and his dad was in walsall
or near their. They got the old man to go to Derby for a load that did,nt exsist so he would come home a differnt way and not see the crash.
That was a bad day as i knew the lad from the Stoke area.
John

hiya tertragaz…hows things mate???theres a nice 1965 ex woodwards(macc) 6 legger ERF in Shirleys that would perhaps be worth a rebuild
HEH the F 88 is a sorryful thing now.but there are a few that would sell and rebuild.theres a rough big J with a 180 and about four 4 wheeler ERFs
worth a look and some Albions but the cabs have gone to far…heres HEH last year I found a cab but the chap changed his mind to sell the cab.
The Smallwood show show is at the end of may this year.
John
Do you know if the ex Woodward 6 wheel LV (LTU 922C) is still there John?. Did it survive the recent clear out?.
I have a photo of a sister Woodward LV, also a 65 C reg 6 wheeler when new.
