Old Codger!

Had to drive another driver’s wagon the other day. He had left his tacho card in the ashtray. Looked at the date of birth and was well shocked 1942!!! Never would have guessed either from talking to him now and again. Flatbed work as well so you have to be a little bit fit.

I left my card in the machine in the office once and people were astonished to see that I’m only 21

Naffi brings back some memories

Head and over !

Sixty three years ago, I was thinking “in 14 years, I’ll be twenty one!”
And I can still run rings round my 16 year old grandson!
