Is there someone who has to sell an old aircon-unit for the roof?
It doesn’t have to work or to be complete.
I want it only for optical reasons
Every offer is welcome.
Tried to find one in Germany but til now without any success.
You english guys have some scanias with an aircon-unit in your oldtimer-scene, i think
(The “Essex”-Tractor for example).
So if there is one for sale, please let me know.
I asked this in the “Scania 140/141”-topic before but without any successs.
Maybe this is the better way.

If all you need is a cosmetic job, unterflur, maybe your local welding shop could fabricate one from thin steel?
Should be easy enough if you have photographs to work from and it would be a lot cheaper than importing a complete unit from UK.
I still see Red Dot ones over here in North America Unterflur maybe get them on google download the specs & bodge one up, a couple of pipes down the back of the cab & it will look just like a Kysor…Maybe RV sites too for a secondhand one…
Thanks a lot for your reply!
It would be very nice if you could make some pictures and give me the most important measurements so that i’m able to build one on my own.
It’s not too important and theres no need to hurry.
At this time it’s too cold in my workshop…
