Steptoe, are Marshalls still going, they were on the old A18 on the r/h side out of Scunthorpe towards Brigg. They ran tankers and marketed LPG as “Marlin” in the 70s.
Chris
They are long gone now aswell, their yard was on Motlash Hill Scunthorpe and is now Skeltons Transport. They had grey Leyland roadtrains, and before those they had Atkinsons. Up antill quite recently one of their old tandem gas barrels was stood in NETV, it had been there for a long time. I bet Sniffy has a picture or two.
Can’t find anything for Marshalls or Marlin LPG, Presume they just bought LPG from one of the gas plants and sold on under under their own brand name or did they have their own LPG storage.
I wonder if they were taken over by another company like Flo-gas or shell, or did they just fold ?
I sold my Honda 90 to Mr Marshall in 1971.Rode it out there and the [zb] made me walk back into town. [zb].

Re-spelling or doctoring a word to get it past the censor does NOT suddenly make the word allowable[/size].

Hello. I am new to this and only joined because Trolene Oil was mentioned somewhere along the line! I appreciate I am late to this conversation but I do know what happened to Trolene Oil. I am Ralph Taylor’s daughter.
