I think its called diversification. People laughed at a certain bearded record company tycoon when he started a railway company, a cable tv company, even an airline. So maybe its not such a daft idea after all, especially if it makes more money than the haulage business.

Thanks mainly to the tv show and generally improved media exposure, they now have established a much wider known “brand” than they did beforehand.

Its quite simple the haulage rates they run for are rubbish so all this merchandise business will be paying a lot better. Eddie.

Simples - the finance director queried how much they were spending on comunications so they just decided to do their own. Is stobart legal still going■■?
