Oh, no! Not the doughnuts!

I for one am glad we left the EU. Sure it created a few issues, especially at the borders, but it has stopped British employers exploiting cheap foreign workers and driving down pay rates in many industries. These are events that most of us have witnessed first hand, not just what is written by the media.

Things like the EU working time directive, also affected the ability of people who wanted/needed to earn extra cash, the ability to do so. Many firms don’t even offer the 48 hour opt out. We all have things we need extra cash for sometimes, be it a change of vehicles or essential home improvements and to have someone in another country telling me I can’t do that, is a total bloody joke.

Let’s be brutally honest. The EU is nothing but a dictatorship. You have no right of appeal against its policies and compliance with their decisions is compulsory. Even Poland is now in direct conflict with the EU who are claiming EU laws override any National laws… Yeah right!

The driver shortage has little to do with Brexit, as many EU drivers saw what crap facilities we had for drivers in the UK, the crap wages and conditions and simply voted with their feet.

What a ZB joke , we’ve now got the same people who stuck 2 fingers upto Europe by voting brexit , are now singing it’s praises & calling working in this country , why am I not surprised

I loved touring Europe doze,…but being ruled by them as if we were some sort of servile colony was a different ball game…we’re GREAT Britain ffs man.

As for working in this country in comparison to Europe in terms of conditions and facilities, well put it this way Ginsters pies and a can of Lilt in a lay by is something you don’t do over there…(after saying that I don t do it over here either.  )

“Being ruled by them, as if we were some sort of servile colony”?
Didn’t you day summat earliet about media exaggeration?
Are you applying for a job on the Mail/Express? Better tone it down a bit, you’re too strong for them.

It’s after reading your anti Brexit posts and your links, you’re influencing me…I apologise.

Now write 100 lines:
“The EU is not a dictatorship”

No chance, I have principles…I only write the truth.

The UK, Britain, Great Britain, The British Isles, England - what's the difference?

Ok, you stick to what you read,.I’ll stick to MY opinion. :bulb:

Then it won’t need the Commission or the ECJ or QMV or the European ‘Parliament’ or EU ‘directives’.
It’s just a forum for the free exchange of ideas which can be taken up or rejected by any/all member states to choice.State government is supreme over EU rule, right ?.

We were certainly greater for all those who’ve had to flee the Continent’s numerous descents into murderous anarchy over the centuries if not rescue them from their own mess.

Just be sure your car or truck sticker now says “UK” rather than “GB”, now though.
