Looks to be a Co-op wagon. Glad the driver is ok. The reporting makes it look like he couldn’t be arsed to phone the emergency services. It will have been no signal or a lost phone to blame. Bloody BBC…
Up that neck eh woods you’ll struggle for signal or maybe the fact his lorry has just flown 30 ft doon a hill and he can’t find his phone? There is a weird tone to the article though, ■■■■■■■■■■
While it’s possible he didn’t have a phone signal at the location, it’s a bit stupid to leave your truck hanging off the side of the hill and not tell the police what has happened or where you are at the first opportunity.
The emergency services could have been wasting their time searching for the driver if they didn’t know if he had been thrown from the cab, had made it out injured and collapsed in a ditch, or was in fact safe in hospital.
Bit iffy on the Beeb’s part: Know the area well and you’ve more chance of finding the car taking you to hospital is being driven by Elvis, than you have of getting a 'phone signal!
I notice that some of us are jumping on the ‘bash the driver’ band-wagon though; anyone thought that maybe he didn’t just leave the scene - but left a note somewhere visible to let people now what was going on!
… or perhaps I just like to see the good in people

Yep, he might also have not known what week he was in if he’d been thrown around in there.
