I have sat on both sides of the fence. Twice

Well I’m going into my 4th month in the transport office.

Theory/cpc tests are booked for December. So i’ll let you know  But there was a lad who came off of driving to come into the office, 2 weeks later he’s back out driving so that somewhat says it all

Cheers

If you had to do it thrice which side would you sit ?

Back in the office I think, car, suit, ladies making tea on demand, and a chance to learn to play golf

I have done both, and both were OK. Driving would be the first choice ,as I wasn’t bred to work indoors. Also I like to be in a lorry.

Did a year in the office a few years ago, not my cup of tea but worthwhile to see the other side of things.

I went from the wheel to the office whilst at Lane Group. Never seen such backstabbing of the drivers by office staff before. I gave it a week and walked.

Done both, not bothered which one per se - depends on the T&C’s and how the hours suit my home life as to which one I am doing at the time.
