off road driving

Im starting a new job at the weekend and a fair amount of the day is going to be spent driving on site.
Does that count towards my daily driving time ■■

you cannot count poa as drivin but you could count it as other work,i never hardly use the square box for poa because from putting your card in to taking it out your at work & most probably getting paid for it.

POA does not count towards driving time, it doesn’t even count as working time so there’s no way you can claim it counts towards your daily driving limits.

Paul

 Not quite sure where POA comes into the equation but as repton said it doesn’t count towards driving or other work.

As already said if any part of the day is spent driving a relevant vehicle on public roads then all driving that day counts towards your driving time, this became law at the beginning of this year.

i am not saying poa.s cout they dont what i am saying is they should count if your at work your working end of .it is being used to allw neee . fiddle more hours at work you are all working far to long we need to be down to about 38 hours drive thats your lot with no loss of earnings

cheers chaps .

Fuse is right.

The whole reason behind the WTD is to give drivers a life, so they come up with this tosh about a POA.
Just [zb] is a POA outside of driving? No, it doesn’t exist except for a group of mugs who will take any [zb] thrown at them.

From arriving at work to coming home is ‘work’ and should count as such.
