Recently I have had to use the A38 from the M42 to J5 of the M5 a few times due to night-time closures. I have used several units, all Mercedes, but have had an odd phenomenon in our only Axor. As I go round the roundabout by the truck-stop just before the Garden Centre I always get a warning on the dash - light faulty. It goes off as soon as I leave the roundabout. There is no fault and I have changed the suzzies so the problem does not originate there.
Anyone else ever noticed anything at this location? It never happens anywhere else. Any suggestions? Some sort of electro-magnetic force field I imagine
Any high voltage cables around, overhead or on a railway under a road bridge ? Reason I ask is that in one particular place I used to go over a rail line in a Scania and underneath were 25Kv overhead cables for the trains. Without fail, the EDC light used to come on and it lost power and started chucking out a smoke screen that would put a destroyer to shame. I only met one bloke that had the same problem with the same sort of motor, so maybe it’s some sort of glitch in the electrics that’ll never be found.

It’s not far from the masts - but that applies for a while. There is a roundabout to get on the M5 but nothing happens there. Next time I’m there I’ll have a look for cables etc.
My Actros does that on corners or roundabouts, but only on certain trailers, especially Montracons. What I do is put a bungee on main elec suzie and clip other end to cab roof and it sorts it.
Are you pulling Euro spec trailers, tilts or Euroliners?
I knew what to do because in the past, when I have pulled Brit trailers with a Dutch reg and specced unit, they were not always compatible on elecs and ABS so you got a ■■■■ load of dash lights, and that method sorted it. I did get pulled by VOSA regularly, explained and nothing was said.
Edit;… just realised your o/p referred to a specific location.
It’s terrified you are going into the truck stop and it’s going to get Laughed at , hence the hissy fit !
My cb always went berserk at the bottom roundabout in Ross. Even with the squelsh turned right down. Mobile phones cut out there too. Various networks.

It could just be a stupid Axor fault.
I was in one of our 63 reg ones the other day, you turn the ignition on, let it do it’s checklist (including lamp check), no faults. Start the (pathetic excuse for a) motor, turn the lights on and straight away, bulb/fuse faulty warning on the dash. Get out and check everything, all working, try the start sequence again and exactly the same response.
When i was a Child then was a Farmer with Horse and Wagon working. Horse did know Way from Field to Pub and later back Home.
