Have a look & understand why we do our checks & keep our infringements down to a minimum-
HI mate. Is there any way a driver can check this register for a company rather than just ask the company where they are on it? Wondered about this for some time as I think it’s useful for a driver thinking of working for a particular firm and wanting to avoid the cowboys. I know you can ask them, but they might not be forthcoming with the truth.

Hi Andy, not sure if there’s a way to check individual companies, data protection & all that [emoji57]but it’s worth knowing about the process & why they check us out.
Ask around a few drivers, you’ll always get one or two who slag the company off, but after a few conversations you should be able to get the Jist’ of the company.
Most of the big companies have got rigorous systems in place, but not all of them relay the information about the OCRS System, beware of the smaller companies & ALWAYS do your checks, report & refuse to take out anything with defects (if you can’t rectify it) Let the cowboys get on with it & try to keep your nose clean.
