Hell Drivers; Earthline play it constantly for 7 hours to go towards the DCPC.

We also have a bloke where I work that must always be in front and gets the right hump it you overtake him

i’m not OTT. but i do like to give the cab a good mucking out at the end of a trip. it’s nice to start a trip with everything in its place, the cab just feels right.

I used to “find” a delay onsite, let the tearase lap me and at the end of the day enjoy seeing how much more stressed he was. It was even better when the one infront has to back for the last load.

we have one on our outfit, he will be out polishing his wheels in the rain, the other week he was out doing the same while being loaded with woodchip in all the dust, as far as i am conserned he needs his bloody head read, we all like to keep our trucks up together but we do a lot of dirty work and thats not always possible, he takes it to a whole new level. its just a pity he can’t do the same for his personal hygine because he will clear a room if he walked in there :open_mouth: :astonished: :astonished: :astonished: :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

One thing that ■■■■■■ me right off is greasy finger prints on the top edge of the drivers side window where the day driver has used the glass, instead of the door handle, to shut the door or when leaning out the window for a tight reverse (it’s an ‘oldie’ so doesn’t have a wide angle mirror on the drivers side). Oh, and his empty Costa coffee cups in the door pocket…and the Sunflower seeds/Pistacchio nut shells on the floor/bunk/passenger seat…oh, and the defect books (when he does em) left in the windscreen and not put back in the drawer…oh, and the crud he leaves on the floormat cuz he can’t spend 5 seconds shaking it off…oh, and not tightening the trailer curtains ‘properly’ (he does the buckles first then cranks up the slack :unamused: , normally covering one of the lower marker lights)…oh, and always leaves the lines in a birds nest appearance…oh, and hardly ever fuels up (day drivers have been told it is their responsibility, as most times, us on night cannot get near the pumps at the depots)…oh, and doesn’t sweep/clear rubbish of the trailer floor (bits of pallets etc)…oh, and doesn’t close the front deflector properly after checking the oil (if you drive an older Scanny, you know what i mean!!)…not that it bothers me that much, i just like things ‘right’
