I’m wondering what would be a reasonable weekly charge for two 6 wheelers plus some room for rakes & barrows etc & a tarmac laying machine,the reason i’m asking, i’ve
been asked by a local o/d and i dont wont to kill him financially, but i’d like to be fair to myself.
C’mon all you o/ds you must have an opinion lets ave it! in £ssssss

ps location is mid Essex
pps yard is hard standing no buildings or services
I’d say about 25-30p/w for each truck.
If you add in the paver and other bits I think between 100 and 150 p/w is reasonable. I guess it depends on how much you value your space? Do you have other uses for it? If not then pretty much anything is a bonus I reckon.
i pay 25 quid a week for 1 truck + trailer no services except a hosepipe, but its fully secure and tarmaced {sp} and has a man and an alsation patrolling at night
I pay £30 per week for 1 unit and 1 trailer…fully secured yard with cctv and patrol man on 24/7…i have to pay £5 extra for using the steam cleaner + i have the use of the garage facilities.
