I suspect there will be more to this than is at first apparent! needs clarifying, otherwise how can they claim immunity from WTD for a full time Driver unless you spend several weeks out of any 17 cycle not driving as the only exemptions are O/D’s and those who do not do more than 11 in 17 or 16 in 26 duty weeks in any cycle.

would it be exempt if it were based on three monthly contracts?

Or if you are on domestic rules  (like me)

On practically every driving job on the job centre website it states that it is exempt from the WTD, they obviuosly just havent caught up with updating it, either that or the job was posted a few weeks ago.

I think the site just needs updating, something they always seem reluctant to do.

I suggest not because its the Driver that subject to the WTD not the job, so even if they were 11 week contracts the driver will still have driven for 11 weeks and will take that record with him or her to the next job, unless you intend to have a significant break between contracts.

Most of the jobs on jobcentre plus say they are covered by the WTD.

It’s also odd that it says ‘no nights out’ after explaining the job is ‘nationwide general haulage’.
