Hi All,
Im new to the site !! well where do i start back in nov 2010 i started my class c after having my provisional on a class 1 << old money since 1995 (grandfather rights i think??), well we all know how life goes so it got put back again,again& again!, since my divorce from my no good for nothing of a wife and 15 years later now 40! and stuck in a sales job i totally hate and loath i thought time to get this sorted.
Lessons have gone better than i thought with the comment from my instructor as “being a natural” 
well my test date came through as yep november 30th!! only to be cancelled and re booked for dec 2nd, yup the day the snow came 
and now my test is the 2nd of feb and all i hope for is that i pass after such a long wait, i have 2 lessons at the end of the month jan to refresh, then once thats past i can the move on to my class 1 my ultimate goal and ambition 
, these folk who say they cant get jobs after they pass is also a myth! ive been proactive and have 3 job offers already for very good companies.
Goodluck with it all, hope it all goes well. And i think it certaininly is quite hard to find a job just after passing the test but it is certainly possible just requires lots of searching and alot of knockbacks!! Me i passed my class 2 in october, CPC in December, now onto my class 1 end of January, so i wish us both good luck i then know the hard part will be trying to find a job, well for me atleast, i’ll start off doing class 2 work to build my experience and confidence up then i’ll move to class 1.

I know how you feel about it a few years ago a similar thing happened to me I did my Cat CE training then went for my test on Dec 4 th not a problem went up to test station onto reverse pad place into reverse then that knock on the door test cancelled as the snow came down that fast you couldnt see the ground
It was then re booked had to be cancelled due to snow then it was re booked then cancelled this happened 6 times in total I did eventually take it on 23 Feb which I failed but then I didnt take a refresh lesson

yep, I know how you feel mate as I had my test cancelled due to the snow…I have my test tmrw
I had a couple of hours today as a refresher, did me the world of good

I had my training booked to start on Tuesday 30th of November with test 3rd of December
Yes the snow came Monday night but not too bad so did a days training but then Wednesday morning the snow on the M62 on my way was really bad.
On my way my instructor rang me and said we would have to cancel the rest of the training and the test until January! I was gutted but my training started again on Tuesday and yesterday I had my test and passed 
The wait from 1st December until Tuesday seemed forever with Christmas etc but it was worth the wait.
It will come sooner than you think
Glad my test wasn’t today because Leeds had loads of snow dumped on it today so was lucky this time
