Don’t get to the pub much nowadays Dave but am sitting here with a “pub lunch” sort of balanced diet single malt in one hand and a Magners cider in the other the only trouble is it makes my legs go funny OK if i only have a few but if i overdo it walking becomes a problem, this is’nt age related it used to happen in my teens not quite a fully qualified ■■■■■■■ but i’m getting there, these qualifications take time but i’ll keep practicing.

you don’t need to worry if you are only falling apart norman , when bits start to fall off is when to get worried . i have glasses , hearing aids , false teeth and stents to keep the blood flow . there is more of me by the bed than in it , i reckon the past is catching up with us all but the fun we had was worth it , cheers , dave

Harry, good old roger charlton had a 9/2 winner and two non runners, I done singles doubles and a treble EW so I had a profitable saturday, another 12 days and I will get rid of my car and pack up driving, if I get my eye problems sorted out, I may try a automatic with hand controls, we will see! If not I will get a boat a patch over my eye and become a " Pirate".

My younger brother has been in hospital again, his tumour he had cut away, has started to causes him trouble, affected his speech and balance to walk, he has to go to oxford for treatment all the way from Great Yarmouth as soon as they can get him in. But he is a lot like me, takes things in his stride. Today even with my eye trouble I came out on top.

Hi you two, I could walk on water if I was clough, for I would be a ghost, but as myself I have tried it several times, but I sink to the bottom, then I can walk, but it gets difficult to breath do you think it might have something to do with my asthma 
or is it that I’m not a ruddy fish. 
Strap a couple of bloaters on your feet Norm,you could walk on the water then.My good lady suffers from asthma,it can be a bit frightening at times,but touch woo,she doesn’t get much trouble and keeps it under control.
