i only look as far as tomorrow harry , check the local paper and if my obituary isn’t in i know i’m still ok . off to the land of the golden nectar soon , i’ll think about you while i’m sipping a few , cheers , dave

hiya,
Don’t get to the pub much nowadays Dave but am sitting here with a “pub lunch” sort of balanced diet single malt in one hand and a Magners cider in the other the only trouble is it makes my legs go funny OK if i only have a few but if i overdo it walking becomes a problem, this is’nt age related it used to happen in my teens not quite a fully qualified ■■■■■■■ but i’m getting there, these qualifications take time but i’ll keep practicing.
thanks harry long retired.

It sounds as if you are a mature student Harry :exclamation:  .
Cheers Dave.

hiya,
Should my missus read this Dave she would put me down as a more immature student, or at least she is forever telling me to grow up.
thanks harry long retired.

I would think by now Harry, your Missus knows that you have done a lot of studying in your time .
Cheers Dave.

hiya,
Only of the human form Dave but woe betide me if she catches me giving them a good coat of looking at, guaranteed to get me a thick ear and a dollop of silent meals.
thanks harry long retired.

Also a spell in the dog house Harry.Where’s Norm lately has he taken to full time gardening again.
Cheers Dave.

hiya,
Norm can’t stand the pace Dave he is nearly as ancient as me but a bit more frayed at the edges, now that should get the old so and so out of the potting shed and doing something useful like taking the ■■■■ out of me
thanks harry long retired.

You old retrobate,I have been feeling bad with asthma since saturday dinner time, I even did not have a bet or play snooker sunday and never went to bowling monday, out in the garden yesterday and today all the time because I could breath better, but you are right, we are falling apart.

you don’t need to worry if you are only falling apart norman , when bits start to fall off is when to get worried . i have glasses , hearing aids , false teeth and stents to keep the blood flow . there is more of me by the bed than in it , i reckon the past is catching up with us all but the fun we had was worth it , cheers , dave

Dave you are right about the fun we had.     I do hope to have a lot more if my wife lets me. :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

Harry, good old roger charlton had a 9/2 winner and two non runners, I done singles doubles and a treble EW so I had a profitable saturday, another 12 days and I will get rid of my car and pack up driving, if I get my eye problems sorted out, I may try a automatic with hand controls, we will see! If not I will get a boat a patch over my eye and become a " Pirate".

Stick with the driving Norm, automatics and hand controls are easy.Your eye specialist will sort out your eyes, or your optician will.
Cheers Dave.

We will see Dave, I still think a patch over my eye and a boat and become a pirate, then plunder the northern regions of the UK, they have plundered down our way enough.    My younger brother has been in hospital again, his tumour he had cut away, has started to causes him trouble, affected his speech and balance to walk, he has to go to oxford for treatment all the way from Great Yarmouth as soon as they can get him in. But he is a lot like me, takes things in his stride. Today even with my eye trouble I came out on top. :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

That’s the hammer Norm, keep positive.Sorry to hear of your brothers problems. No one knows whats going on inside their bodies, perhaps in some cases its a good job.Hope they can sort things out for your brother.
I presume you done Ok on the horses,by stating you came out on top.

Hi you two, I could walk on water if I was clough, for I would be a ghost, but as myself I have tried it several times, but I sink to the bottom, then I can walk, but it gets difficult to breath :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:    do you think it might have something to do with my asthma     or is it that I’m not a ruddy fish. :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

Strap a couple of bloaters on your feet Norm, you could walk on the water then.My good lady suffers from asthma,it can be a bit frightening at times, but touch woo,she doesn’t get much trouble and keeps it under control.
Cheers Dave.

Norman if you took your wallet out of your pocket and your money belt off I am sure you are capable of walking on water  ANON.

Watch it Johnnie I have my wallet attached to a small chain and fixed to my belt, I lost it once in 1993 when I had just got back from doing the boats at Harwich, it never happened again, £60 and quite a few euro’s and all of my cards, it was a pain in the backside, I had to stop them and get new ones. But I can float on water! :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth:
