hiya,
The Zimmer is BRS red, painted it myself and let him have it at a good price sold with full service history and low mileage even fitted it with Sturmey Archer gears at no extra charge goes like a bomb.

Harry what do I want with your old zimmer frame, when I get the stick from ā€œRoger, er and the stick from " Borisā€, two sticks is enough for a old codger like me. So you old getts can just fade away, for my daughters boyfriend took me to the races at Huntington today, and we had a nice meal, and I backed 5 winners and I won loads of money,    also he won loads of money, and he cannot wait to take me again.    , so carry on you loverly fellows, I am bullet proof, for my skin is thick. :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

hiya,
Like i’ve said previously Norm if you fell off the Northampton lighthouse you would land unscathed and upright, myself on the other hand if i fell into a tub of ā– ā– ā– ā–  i’d emerge sucking my thumb, anyway good on yer my son anybody who can give the bookies a bashing from time to time is fine by me, just wish i could do something with the gee gees, i’m certainly going to throw the form book in the bin and go back to using a pin before i become totally skint,

Yes Harry we had a good time, Carl is thinking about becomming a member, he likes the day out, I had three hundred in about ten winning tickets, but take away my stake money and my losing bets, i must a least been £60/ 100 up, carl was half as much, he loves the buzz and said he is copying my way of places bets, so that he never loses too much. Got some slight problems with my laptops, technician comming tonight to sort them out.

hiya,
We have several racecourses not too far from me, i keep saying i’ll go to the next meeting but never do most of them i can visit by bus which means for no travelling ex’s and i can have a drop or two of the amber nectar and i don’t mean lager rubbish, well half a lager for the chaser used to go racing quite regular when i lived in the North West, Haydock was one of my favourites always got a canny touch when visiting there my last race meeting was a couple of years ago The National at Aintree did well at that one had to buy a pair of braces to keep my trousers up the weight of my winnings was dragging them down, got a double up on Saturday should net about Ā£45 just leave it there until next week unlike the horses it’ll eat no feed and it will stake next weeks bets and a few bob left over for the hostelry which is only fifty yards from the bookies our friend Ladbroke’s and i can manage that far without assistance and the bus home is only five yards from the bar which i can stagger no problem, anyway good buddy i’m pleased your hitting the bookies a bit, we might get that cruise yet, hope you divi up with the Colleen.
thanks harry long retired.

Yes Harry I always treat my wife, she asked me today if I had won anything, I replied just about my stake money. Did you get your top hat & tails out, when you went to the grand national.     , I love it & the derby, I also been to ascot, but then I am a high class peasant. :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

hiya,
No Norm not the top hat and tails i look a right prat in a normal suit without making myself look a proper pillock in a monkey suit jeans and rugger shirt aided by a jumper if it’s cold is the best i can do, now i ask you Norm could you honestly see me wearing a tie??, no i don’t think so either.
thanks harry long retired.

Harry are you tell me, that you are a certain type? hum! what that I’m thinking! yes I know a slob.    I bet your wife had a job to get you to wear a tie at your wedding.    I have got to have a go at you Harry, because I have had a bad cold since Saturday, and so I have not been bowling, so you being a mate , you must take the brunt of my frustation.

hiya,
Did wear a tie and a Ā£450.00 suit which is in a heap in the bottom of the wardrobe but i did’nt fasten the top button on my shirt and by the the time i’d got to the reception the tie was stuffed in the jacket pocket i’ts most likely still there, and by the way feel free vent your frustration out on me strong as a horse i can take it ,funny fellows you bowlers a pal of mine lives a few doors from me couple of years senior to me is a bowler, he plays to a quite high standard in the area, well he’s having trouble with his prostate and i’ts starting to affect his back and he’s currently sidelined and believe me he’s like a fish out of water Doris ā€œhis missusā€ says there’s no living with him at the moment, i suppose a bit like i would be if the whisky bottle ran dry, i’m partaking of a very large one at the moment, goodnight good buddy.

Harry, I knew you would understand, this morning I have got a wash & shave, the eyes have stopped watering & the nose, but still chesty cough, but taking something for it, hoping I am fit for travelling, for its my twice yearly trip to Bornemouth with my grandchildren, they love it, I asked if they wanted to go anywhere else, they shouted no! " Bournemouth", they love it, because they walk out of the hotel and they can see the sea, just a couple of minutes and they are walking down the slope towards the beach & pier and a couple of yards and they are into the park, they love feeding the pidgeons & squirrels & ducks, last febuary we tried to take them to Poole, but no they said they was happy to stay where we were, my daughter said we have made them snobs, they like to stay in hotels.  but that is what grandparents are for to spoil them. Times I wished my grandparents had been around long enough & been rich to spoil us.    So tomorrow if fit enough I will make my way down to the hotel, will take my smaller but newer laptop with me, only to keep my eyes on you lot of rogues.

Hello Harry, I got back at five this evening, I am beginning to loath the driving, I am really thinking of packing it in, I never took my laptop, I would have never found time with the girls. Good news, I hit Ladbrokes again, I done charltons runners in 5p ew and the scoop six two tickets and covered them with 5p ew lucky 63, then while going into a cafe for a meal, we ordered, and I said there is a Ladbrokes across the road, I will check to see if I have any winners, I did, and I had the first two races, and I saw charltons horse was about to go off at 9/2 and I wrote a slip out, it had gone to 4/1, so I stuck £40 to win, it flew in, to cut it short, I had three more good bets and won, and one bet on Monday, it won, I was almost £500 up, I gave to my daughter, her children and my wife,I could not clip up my wallet, after having whatever we wanted, we came home and I was a few hundred than I took, so on the outskirts of the town we pulled into to Argos to get some dolls, and I got a 32" Toshiba tv for the wife, wey ho I am in her good books. :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

hiya,
Know what you mean about the driving i’m falling out of love with it too, i’ve got two cars one of them is used by anyone in the street and is really a waste of money keeping it road legal, i nearly always use the bus, that costs nowt, it’s just the old lady keeps telling me ā€œyou never know when you’ll need itā€, anyway good buddy nice to see your still hitting the bookie where it hurts, i’m still doing nothing with them incapable of picking my own nose, thought that there may have been stable ladfs/horsebox drivers on here who might have a bit of information but never hear anything so come on guys give a penniless old geezer a break and post him a few certainties let me break old Ladbroke’s heart for a change, good to hear you enjoyed the break Norm, does recharge the batteries a bit does’nt it, see you later.

Not me Keith,I took the photo then we had a walk to the SNCF station…back to Nice.

What a lot you are, rollers etc, we couldn’t afford them vehicles between us, :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:     , went to Bournemouth with a cold & cough, got through two bottles of cough syrup, and it is better but the cold lingers on, but is improving, but I feel so knackered when I decide to do things, now my wife has it, but is trying to show me how brave she is, but she had to said today, it has took the stuffing out of her, so I can give a couple of moans out when I rest on the setee     . Harry done no good on the horses this weekend, but only stuck to my 5pew’s, they can’t have the money back I have spent it on my family.    . Got to have my flu jab the 12th, usually have a cold after them, might miss me this year being I have had a dose. Hope you lads are keeping fit, I bet that Harry don’t have any colds, for he keeps dis-infecting his throat with whisky. :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp:

Hi Norm,
Sorry to hear you haven’t been to well on your trip. We had the Flu jab a couple of weeks back. I was ok,but Tracy had a cold after it,she has the jab because she is asthmatic. Can’t give you any advice about horses, never bothered with them.My dad was a betting man, always ticking horses in the paper in the racing pages and doing doubles and accumulators etc.My gambling extends to the lottery which is a waste of time and money, but it is a double rollover next wednesay,so someone could be lucky, but I will settle for health more than wealth  .
Cheers Dave.
