Nottingham bus firm( middle east work

hiya,
Norman i was beginning to think you’d taken root in that greenhouse, but instead you’ve been studying form and taking my mucker Ladbroke to the cleaners, why don’t you post me some information and i might get some of my “investment” back, i’m having a bad spell at the moment i could’nt pick the proverbial nose.
thanks harry long retired.

Well Harry a few of the off the old pensioners at a club I go to, you know the ones I went to skeggy with, they have been picking up a few bob since I told them about this trainer, Roger charlton, the other day he had a 12/1, I miss that one, but the lads had it, but I rushed back from bowling and phoned up Bet365 and asked what the price of Sea of Heartbreak in the 4-30 at Salisbury they say it was 3/1 so I took it and put £30 on its nose, it won at 5/2, so far this month I am £137 in profit, and I had another touch with a lucky 126 at 10p on saturday also a scoop six placepot, but that was only £7-50, but was up on the day with ladbrokes £50 plus. He has another running tomorrow at 3-15 Haydock about 7/1 but I am a little dubious, for I do not know how he ran the last two races, but before that his form was good, so I will see the betting and probaly do it ew, the name I think is “Spoken”, a couple of weeks ago he had a winner Brunston & a 4th 40/1 & 10/1 in a big race, I had to bet both of them, but next time it was not in the hunt the jocky was Hayly turner, but he has a 50 per cent winning ratio, and very dangerous if the prize money is large. keep winning :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

hiya,
Norm i’m considering posting my credit card detaills to Ladbrokes and just let him help himself would most likely be cheaper than me trying my luck using my own selections, just destined to be a giver rather than a receiver i guess, ah well.
thanks harry long retired.

Hope you backed the one I told you about in “p” message, it must have drank some " Red Bull" for it had wings, it flew.

hhiya,
Norm, trying to wean myself away from the horses, if i don’t i’ve a good chance of ending up in the workhouse and i doubt if they could keep me in the manner to which i’ve become accustomed, there would certainly be no Bells with my porridge.
thanks harry long retired.

Harry you poor old so-so, I do not think so :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:    you are one of the well off in Durham, and you wean yourself off betting    it is the same as with " Bell’s " you will keep on till the last minute, and when your in the hearse, you’ll make it pull up by ladbrokes to have someone place a bet on, whether you will go up or down. :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

hiya,
The Old Lady dragged me off to bingo this evening “i hate it” but like most of us I have to do what a mans got to do and grin and bear it, anyway i got lucky and shouted for a grand, that will do nicely for the holiday in Tunisia should get a few whiskies down my neck, now how much Bells will i get for a thousand quid??, the wife can buy her own I don’t want to spoil her, and Mr Ladbroke is’nt getting anything i’m a bit sick of paying for his yacht.
thanks harry long retired.

Well done mate hope you enjoy it, no way will I every win, I cannot stand it, nor the wife, my sisters and mother went every week, but they have long departed, even my mate ■■■■ Smith would go when we stopped at Wakefield, I would watch TV in my cab, and join when the dancing started.

hiya,
Now you can see what sort of a gentleman i am, escorting her on her night out and i even manage to smile so she thinks i’m enjoying myself, she does pay for my books and meal while in there, if i offered to pay she’d think i was rich and want to go more often but if i could pick up a grand every time i went i think i could get used to it, and then what what would you think of me a rufty tufty trucker sitting among all those georgeous ladies, there are some crackers get in there on a Friday all dolled up i presume going on to pubs and nightclubs after the bingo finishes at about 9ish, could’nt do much with the ladies now Norm but i am still able to give them a good coat of looking at.
thanks harry long retired.

Thats all I can do nowadays Harry, is look, when you get old, everything gets stiff apart from the object you want to perform :grimacing: :grimacing: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

Hope you are back on the thread Harry, when I get back from Great Yarmouth on thursday.

Back to a middle east trip, we had two loads for Mecca, we was just two days behind two other Brs Overland drivers, Bill Thomas & Jonny Bland, this was the trip I told you about before and getting by Damascus, and using the sun to keep us on track. Well we was at the border waiting to pass through customs to enter into Saudi, and we met this doctor who told us about this driver fom our firm nearly dying due to de- hyration, and it was my mate Bill, he and Jonny liked their beer, and took a few with them, but because they was going into a dry state, they drunk all of their stock the day before reaching the border, and had not eaten or had salt tablets, and was waiting in the heat of the day to past custom’s, and when then did move, Bill got out of his vehicle and fainted and was rushed to the medical centre and put on a marble slab, gave a injection and stripped and buckets of cold water was thrown over him, it was touch and go. but he was able later to continue his journey, and is still going at the age of 78, but he still likes his beer! :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

hiya,
Norm in the words of the famous Frank Carson " it’s the way you tell them, keep it up good buddy.
thanks harry long retired.

Welcome back Harry, you know them Kung Foo programs where they do excercise, when I went on a trip just to turkey, I was in londra camp waiting for the customs to release my load, and for several days each morning and each evening this slim but muscular foreign driver done these slow and rythmic moves, I know years later I saw the old chinese in a park doing a simular thing, if I had tried it, I would have done myself some harm. :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

hiya,
Yes Norm i’m into the keep=fit thingy as well i call my workout Egyptian PT, it consists of lying on the sofa emitting very large ZZZZs.
thanks harry long retired.

Harry thats ok, when we are in the field at the show, we can have a race and see who gets out of breath first.

hiya,
Norm i’m out of breath just thinking about having a race, i bet you could win that one, now here’s a thought i wonder what price i can get off Ladbrokes that you beat me.
thanks harry long retired.

Harry that depends on if you take my puffer or not, also if it is hot or not, I am like a fish out of water if the air is not fresh, all the lads on here would take the mickey, to see two old pensioners racing along the side of old BRS vechicles put back in prime condition, do you think someone could do the same for us old codgers.   :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:
