Don’t do it Ady!

if it means i can earn the same wage,but dont need to travel,run a car with all the saving id make im off,but it will be with a very heavy heart ,my time with stobarts have been up there with the highs in my driving career .its at least something i can tell the grankids aboutWHEN I DROVE FOR EDDIE STOBART,bit like pele,maradona telling there grandkids about there footballing carreer.
ill still look forward to you +jase keeping me up to date with the rise+rise of e.s.l.

over 1 month but less than two years service-1 week
over 2 years service - 1 week for each complete year of service to a max of 12 weeks after 12 years service
so if ive been employed for 3+ years ive got to give 3 weeks notice
im paid 2 weekly,i assumed id have to give 2 weeks notice

because jobs have started to appear in local rag,one being very local to me[never new they had a depot in town],if i can earn the same money,but no travelling time,no need to run a car it would make sense to take the job,

me dessy ,no to be honest until i read the advert in our local rag [grantham journal] i didnt know benton bros had a depot in grantham,always thought they were boston way,which is where you apply to,as i say if they pay same, im quids in only needing to run girlfreinds car,im also starting to struggle with job,when youve got d.t,s telling you how /when to fit dog clips,your winding down legs down wrong,how to get in/out of cab even the rose/tinted amongst us start to think is this job really for me.as he said are you still with us,to be honest my eyes had glazed over and all i could think was what am i doing sitting here listening to this ■■■■■■■■.
if i can get same pay,closer to home,no/less ■■■■■■■■ im seriously off

NO,can see bentons putting all the GAR in place stobarts were/are offering,i was all for the stobarts one if theyd have let me,bet id of been halfway to first million by now

90 hrs ,its no wonder the ops managers doing his nut and saying to every one but me im doing too many hours ,as for the £3.50 f/b mickey,ill have you know weve had a 40%+ pay rise,the f/b is now £5.00 , .
if bentons want TOP drivers then theyll have to pay top rates[no your probally right]

Just having a butchers around Dessy old chap. Not too happy as Appleton took our planning over 2weeks ago and to say I’m under impressed would be an understatement at the mo,you know the craic mate,dragged home most nights to save money etc,the typical way the northern people run the job.
I’m not the only one at Cannock to be a bit hacked off with it all.
