What is the notice period for the traffic period of driving without due care? I think its 30 days?? Ive just recieved one after 90 days after i got tugged?..
And yes i did do it and put my hands up to the offence.

Surely a “Man” of your calibre would be better suited to a charge of Dangerous Driving.
As has been pointed out, they have 14 days to notify the Registered Keeper if it was a postal NIP unless it was related to an accident. As you were stopped, you would have been given the verbal NIP when stopped. (You will be reported for the consideration of prosecution. …) and they have 6 months from that time to “Lay” the information before the courts before it is timed out, AFAIK this also the time limit is longer if it was accident related.
Was it related to a bridge strike? That is also charged as DWDCA. I’m trying to work out what such a professional driver was caught doing. Also bear in mind the Traffic Commissioner may want to discuss the offence with you after the courts have dealt with it.
