Notice i saw today

saw a notice today on the goods in door of a craft supply shop. Basically said that if they didn’t answer the bell with in 5 mins they were busy serving customers (standing around gossiping) and that you were to go away and come back later. you weren’t allowed to wait in the yard you had to leave the premises and if you didn’t come back it would be considered a breach of site policy and you would be banned from site.

who would bother to come back with the goods if they weren’t in the neighbourhood

Say you go back, same thing could happen again and again, bollox to them. Serving customers? Should they even be open yet?

We do not accept deliveries for this address.

Take a photo of said notice (proof) then put the decision into your bosses hands. Its nkt likely you’ll be going back unless someone further up the chain starts the phone calls and mentiins redelivery charges. Funnily enough things seem to move quite quickly after…

Massive tyre marks in the yard as its swung round and back out. If they really need the delivery they’d answer the bell [emoji106]

sorry for the confusion I was delivering to a different company that happened to have their goods in next door to the one mentioned above. I just thought it was a blooming cheek.

It’s from one of those old corny email addresses everyone had from donkeys years ago. Couldn’t use MilkyBar so chose stuwozere1
