I was once in a canteen chatting to a driver. He was complaining he had been on a bay for over 3 hours, he then stated if they didn’t hurry up he’d have to pull outside and take a 45min break!!! Now thats just taking the p1ss, he was sat there drinking coffee and chatting to who ever came in, don’t know what he usually does on a break but that looked like a break to me!

Hmmmm…Still, they say s**t happens, and us drivers get more of it than most, or seem to at any rate. I agree that it is inexplicable why people manage to have an accident on a straight piece of road, but therin lies the answer, their minds wander through boredom or whatever, and bingo

Sounds like ‘other work’ to me. Don’t see how that is “taking the p1ss”.
