Well, typical driver perhaps, but not typical behaviour.
Will now put Micra in with the same bracket (cars to be wary of) as BMW, Audi and 4x4.

Got my 84 plate (B reg) 1.1 Ford ■■■■■■ to ton up the M1 once. I always thought it would only ever do 100 if you pushed it off a cliff!
And there was me thinking Micra’s only did 40mph flat out

i never knew a car could shake so much without falling to bits 
mind you its better than the normal doddery old gits doing 35 on the middle lane.
Just trying to imagine the Micra now, bolt on spoilers on the back, stripes, side skirts, driving lamps added on the front grill…hi-fi system blasting…
Fair play to him. He’s still got the confidence and hopefully the ability to do that speed so he’s less of a danger than the usual oap sat in the middle lane doing 50 with his tunnel vision oblivious to what’s going on around him. Maybe could do with a car better suited to those speeds though
Same happened a few years ago on the M56W to M6N bend with an old gimmer about 100mph. 
The family were challenging the “alleged” speed that accident investigation were coming up with from the ‘skid marks’ etc.
His missus got a surprise when they told her he was in ozza after a car crash
Turns out he’d gone with his missus on the train to drop her off at Mcr Airport for a holiday as she reckoned be was too old to drive, soon as she went he was in the car hire unit hiring out a car for “one” last blast to “see what it could do” before upending it on the bend at very high speed
