Not the "Ideal" way to turn round

thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/fe … uevre.html

Unless they are using the yard to turn around in when they aren’t supposed to, what else does she expect if she leaves it parked on a corner…

I suspect the industrial estate, like most, has adequate turning spaces at the end of its roads but the problem is the people who work there either park there or fill it full of knackered old vehicles particularly if there’s car repair businesses.

It seems some drivers have difficulty judging tail swing. My goodness surely before he started the manoevre he saw the car and should have realised there was not enough room.
Then after dragging it round he obviously fails to see it in his offside mirror and still carries on.
The car was parked outside the gates where the lady worked to stop drivers turning there as the gates were always being damaged.
Even if a car was illegally parked (and I doubt this one was ) you would not attempt to make the turn for that reason or maybe some would. :unamused:

Having been to some estates where everyone leaves their motors scattered everywhere, I’m surprised this doesn’t happen more often.

Ha, she won’t be clever and park there again.

I am surprised as well with the poor standards these days.

There’s good reason they put big steel posts or concrete blocks on corners to stop lorries hitting things where reversing happens regularly.

Lady judd wonders what might be tattooed on her forehead under that bobble hat and fringe…

Well I’m buggered if I’d be daft enough to leave my car as a crumple zone for gates. :unamused:

The ■■■■ bag filming it is just as negligent as the wagon driver.
Instead of sitting there waiting for it to happen, would it have not been a better idea to give the wagon driver a bloody hand by watching him back FFS??
I do it regular at our place as it gets abit tight when there’s cars parked all over the shop.
What the ■■■■ is wrong with folk these days?

It looks like the wagon driver was using the yard to spin in, I don’t think he was supposed to deliver there. I’ve many yards with signs up saying “No turning” so it must be a regular thing.

I’m sure there was no malice ment.

Neither would I but it appears to be a company car judging by the large writing all over it so not ‘her’ car at all which may explain the risky parking

+1 good enough for the up her own ass road commander cow. there has to be great satisfaction working for a major company and taking someone like that out goodstyle…I wonder if her car will be parked in such a stupid place when its repaired?

Too true. Getting a good youtube video is more important a lot of folk.

I wonder if he saw a blind man about to get run over. Would he shout a warning or get he mobilecam out ? :smiling_imp:

She ought to get the boss to park his car there to stop the gates getting damaged while her car is being repaired!! I know what the answer would be. Silly woman!

Forgive me TN for I did sin …
When I 1st started driving artics I did a little casual work for a mate which involved shuttling trailer loads of new wheely bins (stacked 10 high 1 inside the other) from the factory to a warehouse, handballing them on/off the trailer.
The warehouse yard required a tight U turn before reversing back into the doorway to tip. However 1 day I misjudged the turn and hooked the chainlink fence with the T bar of the trailer ripping over 100m+ of chainlink off its posts before being alerted be bystanders.

I’d best not mention that if the top bin of the 10 stack was sometimes full of rain water if the lid was left open, which made them top heavy and unwieldy to move around on the wheels

Too many self obsessed road commander’s knocking about IMO.

If you want to try and be smart, sometimes it backfire’s.

Good here innit. An incompetent lorry driver hits a parked car which is most likely parked quite legally.
The guy filming gets into trouble for not stopping Mr Incompetent.
She is called a stupid woman because she parked her car outside her work to stop lorrys turning and damaging the gates.

Everbody is stupid and everyones fault but the lorry driver.

Get a grip lads eh. :unamused:

+1
An easier and less costly way to stop trucks turning in their yard would be to shut the gates. Not park your car in front of them.
