Can anyone of the Northern Ireland residents tell me how common the plastic Northern Bank £5 notes are please?
I used to work in a very big cash centre a few years ago where I handled approximately £40m every day 
and in all that time I’ve only ever seen one of these notes and believe them to be quite rare. I exchanged it for £5 of my own money and kept it for that very reason.
The only pic I can find of it is here cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll … otohosting and it’s the 3rd one down. As you can see, they’re made sideways instead of straight like a normal bank note, plus made out of plastic and this seems very rare.
