how does £3.50 an hour less go a lot further?
when your mrs gets a trolley load of groceries its approx £120 , when you fill your car up its £1.50 per litre . wherever you live / work in the country that price will not rise or drop by the 35% pay difference

Just remember, when your next down south and you pop into a McDonald’s for your weekly treat of a couple of items from the savers menu (or the northeners menu) just remember that the spotty kid serving you is earning more per hour than you are.
The carriage cleaners at my southern based train depot are on £11.20 per hour. Wouldn’t fancy clearing up rubbish and sick though.

I’d do it, no bother. Can you imagine all the risk assessments they must have done? I reckon if I came across some recycled food I’d get three hours out of it by the time I’d followed the correct procedure.
