Just had next weeks work emailed and for the first time an RDC. Northampton Pets at home with own account bagged agg.

Security should give you a bay to go onto then you hand your keys in at goods in desk and wait in the waiting room. No H&S when I was in there, no more than anyone else anyway.

They do have us pegged mate We have own account work with Pets at home and Reef One (graded and re bagged aggregate) and apparently its now more economically viable for us to bring it into the Uk ourselves than use other hauliers picking up trailers from Calais where i drop them.
As it is though theres only me (and the missus) willing to do it, what with the up and coming work though its going to have to be put on rota where others will have to do their bit…

I somehow dont think KarlaG is going to sit and obey, fiery and fiesty just isnt the word mate. Only been helping me out a few months and shes banned from one place already, shouting abuse at a FLT driver and telling the gateman 'que te den por culo didnt help either Still cant drive so im relying on Mrs G again to do the run…

No…really it isnt. Meet her and with her looks and personality butter wouldnt melt, 5’ tall and all of 8 stone (thats if my imperial guesstimation is correct)…wind her up and things take a different turn shes like a feral cat…

Then wait in good canteen (takes debit card!) good fresh cooked food if timed right

Next thing ill be asking is where to stop. As it is im reckoning 5hrs to Calais Tuesday morning, chunnell then onto PAH then running back to Folkestone empty to reload Calais Weds. Getting anywhere near Folkestone is going to be out of the equation…

So be rolling up to Calais, on a Tuesday, urgh worst day, so it’s going to be a 15hr day, and as your heading back south parking is a nightmare, if you have time, try for Beaconsfield, but being a Tuesday, be mobbed,also it’s snap, there’s no parking allowed around swan valley, just the services, and the red lion at jcn16.
Head out of Northampton on A43 turn right into A5 at Towcester heading towards Weedon there’s a truckstop thingy on left but not sure of costs. There’s also some laybys on A5. Just before Weedon there’s one which is near a Tesco and a petrol station

Well…as she had no phone signal we couldnt speak earlier but Beaconsfield it was. They wouldnt take cash so had to pay by card. Is this always the case with snap parking without an account?
