Any one seen these man made hills at the junction of the A40/A312 near west london
I had always wondered what they were, they look a bit druid/silbury hill types of monument
unfortunately they are not UFO landing sites, but are actually glorified landfill sites
When the new wembley stadium and the westfield shopping centre were being developed nearby, the council used some wasteground to dump all the muckaway, cleverly diverting the spoil away from already full landfill sites and creating a quirky park for the residents, which also acts as a noise barrier from the A40
