North west most dangerous roads

Apparently the a 483 in Blackpool and the snake pass have been named The North west most dangerous roads

Been a spokes person on local news /radio all day saying they’ve now been given funding to make these stretches of road safer.
The a 483 can’t see that being so dangerous.
The snake pass guess could be a case I guess.
Anyway is the cynic of me thinking with this funding all there do is lower the speed limit and install average speed cameras?.
I mean what else can they do to make the snake pass safer?
Answers on a postcard please

Even 30 mph is lethal when combined with the new British penchant for driving on the wrong side of the road because they think a car is 10 feet wide.

While the M6 could be a good bet seemingly over 50% of those using it being crash for cash scammers if not doing a good impression.

M60 without a doubt!

The A 483 is in Wales! LOL

Part of the A583 is in Blackpool and I can honestly say that if that’s the most dangerous in the NW then there must be some Z-tier drivers that gravitate towards it.

As for Snake Pass, I haven’t been down that in ages, if at all.

 No problems with that. Used to do a night run Manchester to Llanelli and back. Almost deserted in the wee small hours.

What’s the road in Blackpool then..almost certain she said Blackpool a 583?

Yeah A583 is Blackpool - Preston. 483 is Wales land.

Have been on the 583 when I used to kick about up there on the bike, can’t remember it being anything bad??

I’ll stick my neck out here and suggest your country, like mine is devoid of dangerous roads. What it is not devoid of is dangerous drivers who cannot drive to the conditions.
