Cancer is a bloody ■■■■ of a thing, sorry to hear of you mate.
My father, Alastair Bell (ex Gwynedd Shipping & Pritchard Brothers) just passed after a 4 year battle with Cancer.
Such a shame, many drivers my dad knew and i remember as a kid have got cancer.

Hello Trevor, Yes B&C transport was owned by the late Mr Arther Bourne of Oswestry and were based at Queenshead.
They used to do regular south wales. I do have some photos when i can dig them out. I am sure i put one of there Atki,s on the old oswestry thread, I am sure Chepstow chap would have some good photos of B&C, he was one of the best for photos around our neck of the woods,

B&C, Arther Bourne & John Cowper, John went separate ways and had a new D Series artic tipper in the Quarry and as now sadly passed away. I worked for Shuker haulage at rednal in the early seventies and being next door to B&C,I do remember The AEC but i am sure it was a 760. I will see Arthers son in law when he calls for a cup of tea as he will know what engine,he was the fitter. They had two Roman lorries and had a lot of trouble .with diffs, They were no bigger than a moggy 1000.
