hello steelboy and chepstow chap thank you for the very intersting pictures my mates and myself have really enjoyed them Caddys were a good old company with many drivers in n wales . It was steel from shotton and Brymbo and i think fridge work from st asaph and denbigh meat i think work they picked up from williams bros but now le jones thank you Trevor

The three drivers are Glyn Williams , Arwyn Lloyd and Eddie Tricket. Glyn died soon after this the other two are still living in the artea

Can anybody remember he haulier from Brymbo who worked out of the steelworks there.I used to go in there in the late 60s from Sheffield and see the wagons regularly,running ERFs I think in a brown livery.
A photo would be nice as well.
That would have been Alfie Greens wazgons. Two of his nephews Phillip and Graham Green drove 2 John Roberts and and Ray 2dont know his surname the other 2. I carried steel for B.R.S I was with them foar 24 years

HI ,Tankerman ,S E JONES were the ones outside Monsanto ,there old colours were dark green ,then changed to a light & dark green ,there was a owner driver had an 8 wheeler ego cab AEC or Leyland a two tone blue ,used to park it by his house on the old Wrexham to Ruabon road ,worked out of Monsanto,Then there was J W Whillis of Gresford ,run a big fleet of tankers on Milk ,hope that might help you Russel,your Barry
S E Jones Acrefair closed the gates OCT 2003 .My wife was in the office for the last 8 years. Brian Jonesstill lives in Trefnant Park Acrefair he is 91 this year.they did have a big J but mainly Atkinsons.Big Danny Jenkins had a DAF demonstrato for the last year.John Dimlow died a few years ago Dave Jones lives in Llangollen and John lives in the Fron. Ithink a lot of the other old drivers have gone too

just spoken to an old mate who said greens had Atkinson borderers with sleeper cabs they also would do work out of rubery owen at llay taking axels to trailer companies thank you trevor
had a phone call today telling me that peter davis who used to drive milk tankers for j h willis
a good few years ago past away on wednesday after a long battle with cancer.
